Ask us on the call. Minimums exist in this industry because sending a caregiver across town for forty-five minutes does not work for anybody, but the practical answer depends on where you are and what you need. We will be straight about it rather than surprising you later.
Usually fewer, well-chosen hours rather than more thinly spread ones. A caregiver who comes three mornings a week and handles bathing, meals and medication reminders often relieves more pressure than someone drifting through every afternoon. We will tell you where the hours do the most good, even when that means selling you fewer of them.
Personal Touch Home Care provides non-medical in-home care. Our caregivers assist with daily living, safety and companionship. They do not provide nursing, wound care, injections, physical therapy or any service requiring a licensed clinician. If that is what is needed, it is a home health agency, and we will tell you so.
