Some families need four hours on a Tuesday. Some need someone in the house every night. We build the schedule around what is really happening, not around a package — and we tell you honestly when what you need is something other than us.
Personal Touch Home Care provides non-medical in-home care in Las Cruces, New Mexico: personal care assistance, companion care and homemaking, respite care for family caregivers, non-medical hospice support, and emergency sanitation and cleanup. Care is available hourly, overnight, or 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including weekends and holidays.
Bathing, dressing, toileting, transfers and mobility — hands-on help with the parts of the day that got hard.
Conversation, meals, light housekeeping, errands, and rides to appointments for someone who is alone too much.
Short-term coverage so a family caregiver can sleep, work, travel, or get well.
Non-medical presence and comfort care alongside your hospice team, including overnights.
Discreet deep cleaning, disinfection and odor control after an accident, an illness, or a period when upkeep was not possible.
Awake overnight shifts and sleep shifts — bathroom trips, wandering, repositioning and nighttime confusion, so the family sleeps.
Saturdays, Sundays and holidays — the two days most agencies and day programs do not cover.
Continuous cover from a small rotating team, so no hour goes unwatched and nobody has to move into a facility.
Showers, tub baths and bed baths with safe transfers, hair, skin checks and grooming — without the fight.
Timed bathroom help, discreet changing, cleanup, skin protection and laundry. The reason many families call.
Getting out of bed, standing, walking and transfers — the predictable moments where falls actually happen.
Buttons, zippers, socks, compression stockings, hair and shaving, so someone still looks like themselves.
On-schedule prompts, missed and doubled dose reporting, refill tracking. Reminders only, never administration.
Real food cooked in their own kitchen, doctor-advised diets honoured, and someone at the table.
Dishes, laundry, bedding, bathroom and clear walkways — fall prevention as much as tidiness.
Groceries, prescription pickups, post office and bank — with them where possible, for them where not.
Driven, walked in, waited with, and a report back on what the doctor actually said.
Up, washed, dressed, medication taken and breakfast eaten. If you can only afford one block, this is it.
Dinner, evening medication, and getting safely to bed — plus the late-afternoon restlessness window.
Tell us what is happening in plain words. No script, no sales call. If we are not the right fit we will say so on that first call.
We come to the home, meet your loved one, look at the real conditions — stairs, bathroom, pets, medications — and build a plan around them.
We assign based on skill, personality, and language, then introduce them before the first solo shift wherever possible.
Needs change. Schedules change. Call us and we rebuild it — that flexibility is the point of hiring a local company.
Personal Touch Home Care is a private-pay, non-medical home care company. We do not provide skilled nursing, wound care, injections, physical therapy, or medication administration, and we do not bill Medicare or Medicaid. If your loved one needs skilled care, tell us — we will say so plainly and help you understand what to look for.
There are two ways families pay us: private pay, or a long-term care insurance policy. See how paying for care works →
Most families do not. Call and describe the week you are having — we will tell you what would actually help.
