Do you provide in-home care in Doña Ana?

Yes. Doña Ana is a short drive north of our Las Cruces office, and Personal Touch Home Care serves it directly — hourly visits, overnight shifts, weekends and continuous 24-hour care, in English and Spanish.

Care in Doña Ana

Doña Ana is one of the oldest settlements in this valley, and it shows in who lives there: families who have been on the same land a very long time, in homes that mean something well beyond property.

That changes what care is for. Nobody in that situation is looking for a facility. They are looking for whatever makes staying possible, which is usually far less than people assume — help with the shower, the meals, the medications, and somebody there through the night.

Being a smaller community also means word travels. We would rather earn one family here properly than take three and stretch ourselves thin.

Questions from Doña Ana families

Is Doña Ana too far out for regular daily visits?

No. It is a short drive from our office and daily visits are entirely workable.

Can you cover overnight out here?

Yes. Overnight is one of the shifts we deliberately staff, and Doña Ana is close enough that it is straightforward.

Do most of your caregivers speak Spanish?

We have bilingual caregivers and we match language at assignment. For this area we would ask about it up front.

What if we only need help a couple of days a week?

That is a perfectly normal arrangement. Tell us which days and what needs covering.

Personal Touch Home Care provides non-medical in-home care. Our caregivers assist with daily living, safety and companionship. They do not provide nursing, wound care, injections, physical therapy or any service requiring a licensed clinician. If that is what is needed, it is a home health agency, and we will tell you so.
