Home-delivered meals run through the City of Las Cruces Senior Programs. Intake and evaluations are handled at the Munson Center on (575) 528-3000, and the Eastside Center on (575) 528-3012 is the hub for the nutrition and Meals-on-Wheels programme.
It is worth calling even if you are not sure someone qualifies. A hot meal delivered daily also means somebody lays eyes on the person every day, which for an older adult living alone is worth as much as the food.

What these services do not do is put a person in the house for hours at a time to help with bathing, dressing, meals, medication reminders and the nights.
